Regional authorities reported that nine people were injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine on October 17, early morning.
The Air Force reported that Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 22 of the 65 attack robots launched overnight. Two drones flew towards Belarus and 27 were destroyed by electronic warfare.
Five drone attacks against infrastructure facilities have been recorded in front-line areas. Russia reportedly also attacked Ukraine with a Kh 95 guided aerial missile.
Russia launched drones in different directions and weaves to attack Kyiv and its region. The drones were all shot down. The falling fragments damaged an apartment building in Kiev and caused a fire in a farm in Kyiv Oblast.
No casualties have been reported.
Vadym Fillashkin, the governor of Donetsk Oblast, said that three people were injured in Russian attacks in the towns of Chasiv Yar, Pokrovsk, and the village of Mykolaivka.
Oleksandr PROKUDIN, the Governor of Kherson Oblast reported that six people were injured by Russian strikes. Ten houses, five multistory buildings, an auto repair shop, cars, and a car service center were damaged.
A cyber attack on Mykolaiv Oblast caused damage to an energy infrastructure, resulting in blackouts. Governor Vitalii KIM said that no casualties had been reported.
In Sumy Oblast Russia used drones to attack the Znob Novhorodske neighborhood near the Russian border, destroying a two-story building and a vehicle.
After first responders, medical workers, and firefighters arrived on the scene, Russia launched drone strikes that damaged an ambulance and fire truck. No injuries were reported.

Pokrovske coal mining is located 10 km (6miles) west of Pokrovsk. It is the largest coal mine in Ukraine, and one of the biggest in Eastern Europe.
