**Russia Admits Ukraine Attacked Air **

On November 26, Russia’s said that Ukraine had attacked their and airfield in the Oblast region.

This is the first time Russia has confirmed these attacks. Ukraine had previously reported hitting a Russian S- radar with U.S.-made on November 23.

The Russian ministry said that five ATACMS missiles were fired at the village of Lotarevka, 37 km northwest of Kursk. Three of the missiles were shot down, while two hit the positions of an S-400 surface-to-air missile division. The strike damaged a radar and caused among personnel.

Ukraine also attacked the Kursk Vostochny airbase on with eight ATACMS missiles. Seven of these missiles were allegedly shot down by Russian air defenses, but one hit its target, injuring two soldiers and damaging infrastructure.

The claims made by Russia have not been verified.
