**Russia Attacks Kharkiv, Killing 3 and Injuring 32**
Russia launched a drone attack on the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine late at night on April 3. The attack killed at least three civilians and injured 32 others, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
A Russian drone struck an apartment building in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv. A large fire broke out at the site after the attack. Three people were killed, and a child was among those injured, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
**Search for Victims Underway**
A search and rescue operation is underway to find any victims who may be trapped under the rubble. Terekhov said that emergency services are working to help those affected by the attack.
Kharkiv Oblast has been a frequent target of Russian aerial bombardments. Russia regularly launches large-scale missile, drone, and glide bomb attacks against densely populated civilian districts.
**Russia Continues to Attack Ukraine**
Despite a partial “ceasefire” agreement, Russia continues to attack Ukraine’s residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure. Kyiv has presented evidence to the US that Russia has violated the energy ceasefire, according to Presidential Office Deputy Head Pavlo Palisa.
