Russian drone attack on Odesa kills 1, wounds 13, prosecutors say

The prosecutor’s office reported that Russian troops launched a “massive” drone attack in Odesa and its surrounding suburbs on Nov. 9, killing one person and injuring 13.
According to the report, two boys aged 4 and 16 were among the injured in the drone strike in the early morning hours of November 9.
The report comes at the same time as Ukraine’s Air Force announced that Russia attacked Ukraine over night with 51 drones and that the southern Odesa Oblast is the “epicenter.” According to the Air Force, the attack was carried out by drones of “unspecified types” and shad drones.
The regional prosecutor reported that the attack on Odesa caused damage to multi-story buildings as well as private homes, warehouses and cars.
The Odesa Oblast’s Prosecutor’s Office posted a Telegram message saying that “the inspection is continuing, and the full list of damage and destruction is being established.”
Russia has intensified its drone attacks in Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv where civilians are targeted almost daily.
