**Russian Drone Strike Kills 3 in Ukraine**
A meat processing plant in Kharkiv Oblast was hit by a Russian drone strike on March 8. Three civilians were killed and seven others were injured. The strike happened around 2 a.m., when four Shahed drones attacked the plant.
**Multiple Strikes Across Ukraine**
Overnight, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 145 drones and decoy drones were launched from Russia. Two ballistic missiles and a cruise missile were also fired. A separate strike in Donetsk Oblast killed 11 people and injured 30 others.
**U.S. Halt on Intelligence Sharing Raises Concerns**
The United States has stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine to help identify Russian targets. This could affect Ukraine’s ability to issue alerts about incoming attacks. However, the U.S. still shares some intelligence with Ukraine to assist with defense operations.
**Russian Troop Losses and Ukrainian Military Operations**
Russia has lost over 883,000 troops in Ukraine since February 2022, according to Ukraine’s Armed Forces. Ukrainian military intelligence has disabled two diesel trains in Russia, a military source said.
**Global Response**
The U.S. continues to support Ukraine with military aid. However, some lawmakers warn that a pause in aid could harm Ukraine’s combat capabilities and undermine its leverage in talks with Moscow. Thousands of protesters gathered in Slovakia on March 7 to demand the government’s resignation.
