Russian missile attack in Kharkiv injures 9

Kharkiv Oblast Police reported that a Russian missile attack on Kharkiv in the evening of October 20 injured nine civilians.
According to regional authorities, the injured include four women between the ages of 22 and 53 and five men between 21-37.
Police reported that Russian missiles were fired at three districts of Kharkiv around 10 pm local time. The attack caused some areas of the city to lose electricity.
The missile strike also damaged houses, garages and gas stations as well as cars. Emergency workers were dispatched to the attack sites, and the full impact of the missile strike is currently being investigated.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2020, Kharkiv has been constantly attacked by Russia. In the last few months, strikes have intensified against densely populated areas in the city.
Ukrainian officials have warned that Moscow has once again prepared to strike Ukraine’s infrastructure in advance of the winter months. This will cause blackouts and disruptions of essential services.
