Nine of the ten injured people are in hospital. Four victims are in serious conditions.
The attack destroyed a two-story building, where residents lived and were employed. Under the rubble, three people were killed – a 16 year old girl, a woman aged 43 and a man aged 22.
Kiper said that another woman died at the hospital from severe injuries.
Recent Russian attacks have intensified against the southern Odesa Oblast. They target port infrastructures and damage several civilian vessels. On Oct. 9, a civilian ship flying the Panama flag was hit by a Russian strike, killing eight people.
Odesa and the ports near it are important hubs for Ukrainian agricultural exports via Black Sea. Ukraine opened a new maritime transportation corridor in August last year after Russia pulled out of the Black Sea deal mediated by Turkey and the U.N.
