Ukraine Eliminates Missile Developer

A Ukrainian operation has reportedly eliminated a senior Russian missile developer. Mikhail Shatsky, the deputy chief designer and head of software at Moscow’s Mars design bureau, was shot in a forest park near Kotelniki, Moscow Oblast.

According reports, Shatsky worked on upgrading Russia’s cruise missiles and developing new with artificial intelligence. His colleagues considered him the main person responsible for implementing AI in Russian aircraft and spacecraft.

Ukraine has been actively targeting involved in war crimes and collaborators in occupied areas since Russia’s full-scale invasion. This operation is part of a larger effort to disrupt Russia’s military-industrial complex.

Shatsky was allegedly working on modernizing Russia’s -59 cruise missiles to the Kh-69 standard, which was first used to strike Ukrainian cities in October .

The Ukrainian ‘s Main (HUR) did not confirm or deny involvement in the operation.
