City Hall Staff Georgia Face Repression Over EU Petition

According to Saba Buadze, leader of the “” coalition, city hall representatives are bargaining with the signatories, asking them to take back their support in exchange a ‘s bonus. This is seen as a shameful and criminal act by many.

Buadze expressed his gratitude to those who signed the petition, calling them brave and committed public servants. He also urged senior at the City Hall not to participate in the repressions announced by Mayor Kakha Kaladze.

The situation is tense in Tbilisi, with protests and civil resistance against the decision to stop EU talks ongoing. Buadze called on those who are willing to protect and Georgia’s European future to join the cause.
