British Parliament to Hear from Georgia’s President
The Foreign Affairs Committee in Great Britain will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 1. The session will feature the country of Georgia’s leader, President Salome Zourabichvili.
She will join the meeting virtually and share her perspective on disinformation and its effects on democracies worldwide. This is part of a larger investigation by the Committee into the spread of false information.
The discussion will focus on Russia’s influence in Georgia and the country’s elections. The British lawmakers want to know more about reports of secret warfare tactics used by Russia and how they can help other countries being targeted by such actions.
