**Georgia‘s Ex-President Speaks Out Against Investigative Commission**
The second meeting of the Resistance Platform was held recently. At a press briefing, Georgia’s former President Salome Zurabishvili spoke out against the temporary investigative commission.
According to Zurabishvili, this commission is not legitimate because it was created by an illegitimate parliament. She also believes that the commission serves only Russian interests. The Resistance Platform is made up of pro-European parties who share a few main priorities: new elections and the release of prisoners of conscience.
**No Participation in Investigative Commission**
The platform’s coordination discussed the activities of the investigative commission at their meeting. They decided that none of the political parties included in the Resistance Platform will participate in this commission. Zurabishvili stated that the commission is illegitimate and serves to spread fear among people. She also warned against spreading fear and targeting individuals.
