**Georgia’s President Meets with Women’s March Participants**
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, met with women who took part in the “Women’s March”. The march was held near the Orbeliani Palace.
President Zurabishvili spoke to the group. She said that women are strong and important for Georgia‘s future. They bring hope to the country and its people.
The women had arrived at the palace as part of their procession. They chanted “Salome, Salome” for several minutes before the President came out to meet them. The participants shook hands with the President as a sign of support.
