Georgia’s President Attends US Inauguration
Georgia‘s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, represented the country at a special event in the United States. She was one of many people who attended the inauguration ceremony for new US President Donald Trump.
Zurabishvili said it was very important to be there and show that Georgia is a true friend of the United States. The two countries have worked together for 30 years, helping Georgia build its own government. This event gave Zurabishvili the chance to meet with American leaders and discuss how they can work together.
The president described the first few days as celebratory, but now it’s time for more serious talks. She plans to hold meetings with US officials to improve relations between the two countries. This will help Georgia get the kind of support it needs from its ally.
