US Ambassador Visits Georgian President
The US ambassador to Georgia, Robin Dunnigan, met with the country‘s president, Salome Zurabishvili. This was announced by the president’s press service.
This is not the first meeting between the two leaders. Earlier this month, the ambassador spoke with Georgia’s foreign minister, Maka Botchorishvili. They discussed how to improve relations between the US and Georgia.
The US Embassy said that Ambassador Dunnigan talked about what President Trump and Marco Rubio want from Georgia. The ambassador also suggested steps that Georgia can take to show its commitment to improving relations with the US.
These meetings are a sign of cooperation between the two countries. They both share common values and interests, which they hope will lead to positive developments in their partnership.
