Georgia at a Turning Point, Says President Zurabishvili
The president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, met with the Atlantic Council recently. She spoke about her meetings with US ministers before their inauguration.

Either Georgia will be pulled back into Russia‘s influence or it will continue on its path since gaining independence. The US has been important in helping Georgia create and strengthen its institutions, army, and overall independence.
Zurabishvili said this is not just a political issue but an existential one. It’s about whether Georgia can remain an independent country, recognized by others as sovereign.
