In an interview with Financial Times, the President of Georgia stated that this is not just an ordinary election. It’s a choice between a European future and a Russian past.
Salome Zurabishvili said that “Georgian Dream“, unlike other political parties, does not use “traditional methods” to win elections.
“Therefore the only way to win elections is to falsify elections.” It has already begun. It is important to mobilize, because they cannot steal elections if people do not mobilize themselves,” Salome Zurabishvili says.
Salome Zurabishvili, in an interview with FT magazine, calls the 12-year rule by “Georgian Dream”, “one-party ruling” and states that “they control the entire country“.
How do you get rid the Russian government, or Russians, however you want to refer to them, through control or pressure? Salome Zurabishvili says that the government is called the Kremlin because it uses its methods.
The Financial Times reports that “According to President of Georgia it is doubtful the opposition parties will form a coalition within the two-week period provided by the constitution following the confirmation of election results. The interim government will provide clarification to the voters.”
Salome Zurabishvili said, “I think that the population understood better than political parties that this was a referendum for the future and a real decision.”
