**Georgia Stands Strong**
Despite the ongoing conflict and occupation, Georgia’s people are refusing to give up. This was the message from Salome Zurabishvili, the country‘s fifth president.
In a speech on Rustaveli Avenue, Zurabishvili praised the society for standing firm against violence. She noted that protesters have been facing daily attacks with water cannons, bullets, and insults, but still refuse to back down.
**Resilience in the Face of Adversity**
The president highlighted the bravery of ordinary Georgians, including Mzia Amaglobeli and Temur Katamadze, who are currently being held as prisoners. Despite their detention, they remain defiant, and this attitude is inspiring others to stand strong.
Zurabishvili stressed that Georgia will not give in to Russia‘s demands. The country remains committed to its European path, independence, and freedom. The president vowed that the Russian regime will not be able to subjugate Georgians, saying “we will not give in” and “they will not be able to subjugate us.”
