**Georgian President Apologizes for Fan Behavior**
The president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has made a public apology to neighboring countries.

President Zurabishvili said in her social media post: “As the still legitimate president, I want to apologize in my role as president to our neighboring peoples for the disgraceful behavior of some of our rootless citizens.”
The term “rootless citizens” is often used in Georgia to describe people who are not loyal to their country.
President Zurabishvili emphasized that Georgia and its neighbors have a long history of peace and Christianity. She said: “We will continue to be neighborly states, nations with an ancient Christian faith, and we will live in a peaceful European Caucasus!”
