**Georgia’s President Says Government is Falling Apart**
Georgia’s president, Salome Zurabishvili, has said that the government is in crisis and falling apart. She believes that the only way out of this situation is for new elections to be held.
According to President Zurabishvili, elections are necessary when a country is facing a deep crisis. She says that it’s impossible to govern a country against its people’s will for long. The police are also struggling with instructions from the government, and institutions are being controlled in a way that’s not normal.
The president has given two options to the ruling party: they can either hold new elections together with other forces in the country, or wait until the party collapses completely. If they choose the second option, it will lead to a different kind of responsibility-sharing, but it will be difficult and damaging for the country.
President Zurabishvili is prepared for both alternatives and will continue to support the people who are protesting on the streets in Tbilisi and other cities outside the capital.
