Georgian President’s Response to Election Report
President Salome Zurabishvili has reacted to the OSCE/ODIHR final report on Georgia’s October 26 elections. The report called for specific actions, which Zurabishvili believes means holding new elections.
In a statement on social network X, the president said: “A call for concrete action means new elections. That is the democratic way out if the deep crisis in which these elections have thrown Georgia.”
This suggests that the president thinks there should be another election to resolve the current situation.
