**World Week of Italian Cuisine Returns**
From November 16 to 22, 2024, Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the ninth edition of the World Week of Italian Cuisine. This year’s theme is “Mediterranean Diet: Health and Traditions,” highlighting the country’s culinary heritage.
**Celebrations in Georgia**
In Georgia, the celebrations are dedicated to the cuisine of the Campania region. The Italian Embassy has organized a series of events with the help of sponsors and partners.
**Events Schedule**
Here are some of the key events:
* **November 17**: A pizza festival will be held at ExpoGeorgia, featuring a masterclass on pizza dough, a competition among professional pizzeria chefs, and a tasting of various pizza styles.
* **November 18**: A gala dinner will showcase the exquisite cuisine of Campania and the flavors of the Mediterranean. The dinner will feature classical music performances and a specially curated menu by Chef Salvatore La Ragione and Diego Buttiglione.
* **November 19**: A masterclass for aspiring chefs will be conducted by Chef Diego Buttiglione and representatives from Molino Casillo at the Culinary Academy of Agrarian University of Georgia.
* **November 20**: A seminar on Campania delicacies will be led by Domenico Raimondo, followed by an exhibition of pasta sculptures and a culinary demonstration by chef Salvatore La Ragione.
**Other Events**
