Russia’s War on NATO Expands Beyond Conventional Fighting
Russia is now attacking critical infrastructure in multiple countries that are part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This includes hospitals, underwater cables, and GPS systems.
According to a report by the OSCE, Russia has carried out around 150 attacks on NATO countries since the start of the war in Ukraine. These include cyberattacks on important buildings and services. Russia’s goal is to weaken NATO countries.

The OSCE report also shows that Russia has attacked physical targets, such as pharmacies and government buildings. In one case, a plot to kill Italy’s defense minister was foiled by authorities.
