Committee Approves Loan Agreement with KfW
The Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee met to discuss a loan agreement between Georgia and the German development bank, KfW. First Deputy Finance Minister Giorgi Kakauridze introduced the proposal.
Kakauridze explained that the previous loan was for €40 million to fund green investments in schools, such as improving infrastructure and energy efficiency. He noted that another loan agreement was signed in June for the same amount.
The committee heard details about the implemented projects and the conditions of the loan. They also had a chance to ask questions. After discussing the proposal, the committee approved the document.
