**Serbia‘s Athletics Chief Resigns**
Mihail Dudas, a well-known athlete and sports director of the Serbian Athletics Association (SAS), has quit his job. He said he can’t work in an environment without transparency, freedom, and integrity.
Dudas made his announcement on Instagram. He said he dedicated 28 years to athletics and wants to support good values. However, he feels that SAS is not working towards these goals. As a result, he decided it was time to leave.
He also resigned from directing two important athletic events: the Belgrade Indoor Meet and Serbia Athletic Meet. Dudas is a champion decathlete and heptathlete who holds national records in both events.
Dudas wants people to know that quitting his job was the right decision for him at this moment. He’s known for his achievements in athletics, and now he’s speaking out against what he sees as problems within the sport.
