**Thousands Protest in Serbia Over Railway Disaster**
A large crowd of people gathered in the southern town of Nis on Saturday to remember those who died in a train station disaster. The protest was led by students and is now the biggest challenge yet to the power of President Aleksandar Vucic.
**Mass Protests Continue**
This is not the first time mass demonstrations have taken place in Serbia. They started four months ago, after 15 people were killed when a roof collapsed at a newly renovated train station in Novi Sad. Many Serbians believe the collapse was caused by corruption linked to President Vucic’s rule.
**Students Lead Protests**
Teachers, farmers, and other workers have joined students who began blocking classes at universities in December. The protests demand that authorities publish documents related to the train station disaster and that those responsible are held accountable.
**Government Responds**
The government has promised an anti-corruption campaign and denies any wrongdoing. Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and two other ministers have resigned due to the protests, which have taken place in the capital Belgrade and towns across the country.
**Prosecutors Investigate**
13 people have been charged in connection with the train station collapse. However, students continue their daily protests, pressing for justice and increased funding for higher education.
