According to Russian media, Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, said that Russia has contacts with Georgia, and, if needed, the ability to discuss current issues.
“We have contacts with Tbilisi.” We have a section for Swiss interests at the Swiss Embassy. Our diplomats are based there and, when necessary, can discuss current issues with the Georgian authorities, especially in the areas of tourism, trade, and people-to person contacts.
