The Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has resumed services in Georgia on Monday.
On February 17, citizens can take the theory and practical driving test, and register an weapon at any of the service centers across the country.
The Service Agency will continue issuing documents necessary to citizens via its website, and now in its service centres.
The MIA Service Agency encourages citizens to follow recommendations related to coronavirus.
“Effective 17 February, the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Georgia will resume all limited services due to COVID-19 preventive measures.”
“From 17 February, it will be possible for drivers to take both theoretical and practical tests. Users can now book a series theoretical exams electronically.
“Also the procedures related to registration of weapons will fully be restored. The test for firearms registration permits will be available to all interested persons.
“The Service Agency fully takes into consideration the recommendations of the Interagency Coordination Council of the Government of Georgia, for the safety of the citizens.” The agency urges citizens to wear masks while visiting service centers and taking exams.
