The death toll of yesterday’s Russian missile strike increased to seven after a 46-year old port worker succumbed in hospital to severe injuries the next day.
Oleh Kiper of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration reported on 10 October that the death toll in Russian missile attacks against Odesa Oblast port infrastructure had risen to 7.
Yesterday’s Russian attack resulted in damage on a civilian vessel – the container ship Shui Spirit sailing under Panamanian flag. This is the third foreign vessel that Russia has attacked in the last four days. After withdrawing its Black Sea Fleet under Ukrainian drone and rocket attacks, Russia appears determined to disrupt the operations at Ukrainian ports.
A 46-year old port worker died this morning in hospital due to severe injuries he sustained during the attacks.
