**Former Defense Minister Accused of Stealing Millions from Georgian Army**
The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, has made serious allegations against a former Minister of Defense. Davit Kezerashvili is accused of stealing millions from the Georgian army just before the August war.
According to Papuashvili, Kezerashvili used this stolen money to buy diamonds and jewelry during the war. The Speaker made these comments to journalists, saying that Kezerashvili’s actions were “immoral”.
**Kezerashvili Has Asylum in Europe**
Papuashvili pointed out that Kezerashvili has asylum in the European Union and can move freely within its territory, as well as in Great Britain. The Speaker questioned why EU and British diplomats speak about democracy and rule of law in Georgia without addressing this issue.
**Questions for EU and British Diplomats**
Papuashvili asked EU and British diplomats to explain why they “hide an international criminal” like Kezerashvili. He reminded them that Kezerashvili stole millions from the Georgian army, bought diamonds during the war, and abandoned soldiers on the battlefield.
**Condemning People of Similar Morality**
The Speaker condemned people who share Kezerashvili’s morality, including those in opposition parties, on television, and in non-governmental organizations. These individuals, Papuashvili said, have amassed wealth using money from the Georgian army and are now speaking about Georgia’s European future.
