**Parliament Session to Begin on November 25**
The first session of the Georgian Parliament will take place on November 25 at 12:00. This was announced by Shalva Papuashvili, chairman of the parliament.
**Session Details**
The session will be led by senior deputy Lado Kakhadze. The newly elected members of parliament must register in writing from 11:00 am near the parliament hall. After registration, the session will begin at 12:00 pm.
**Agenda for First Session**
The main issues to be discussed during the first session include:
* Recognition of the powers of the Parliament and its members
* Election of the chairman and his deputies
* Election of committee chairmen
**Upcoming Agenda**
In addition to these key topics, the week’s agenda will also include setting a date for presidential elections and declaring confidence in the new government. This will be done after notifying the public of the parliament’s authority.
**Procedure for Presidential Elections**
The Central Election Commission (CEC) is already involved in preparing for the presidential elections. The commission forms an electoral college consisting of 300 members, including all 150 members of the parliament and representatives from Abkhazia, Adjara, and local self-government bodies.
