Is the going follow its declared values in and make its expenses public? Should he adhere to his principles so that the finances of his Georgian business are transparent? We want to know the answer from European officials. Shalva , of Parliament, told journalists that it’s shame to tell in the 21st Century that the money spent Georgia should be kept secret.
According to him funds from the EU’s budget are secretly used in Georgia.
“The question is as to what European values are. The chair of European Values is often used to speak to us, but there is already some doubt among Georgians about whether we understand these European values the same way. For Georgians it is impossible to imagine that spending money covertly in another country to influence the political system of another country would be a European Value. This is not a European Value. If any European believes this, they should say it out loud and not so quietly. The Georgians are not sure if LGBT propaganda in schools and kindergartens can be considered a European Value. Then they tell us that this is a European value. We were wrong and thought Europe and European values were something else. We are Georgians. Georgian culture is co-creator with European culture. When we speak of European values, it is first and foremost about Georgian values. They tell us and explain that if European values were secretly spent in a different country, we would understand them differently. If LGBT propaganda is a European Value, or if schools and Kindergartens promote the European Value that there are many genders, we would understand it differently. They tell us what the European Value is.
The “” is one of the most important European values laws. This law requires that all funds from public sources and, in particular, funds from abroad must be transparent. This is a European Value. I wonder who would say that the opaqueness of spending money in a foreign country is a European Value.
Secretly, funds from the EU budget is spent in Georgia. The “ Fund”, for example, secretly spends money on Georgia, including in politics. This has become a scandal on multiple occasions. Is the European Union going follow its declared values, and make public their own expenses, their own budget expenses in Georgia? Will he follow his principles to ensure that his finances in Georgia will be transparent? We are interested and want an answer from European officials. It’s a shame, even, that they are proving to us in the 21st Century that the money spent on Georgia should be kept secret. We can all see the negative effects of this money when we learn that radical political parties in Georgia are funded from the EU budget. This has been proved many times. In a conversation with me personally, a European Chinese confirmed he had seen, for example the list of projects from the “European Democracy Fund”, and agreed with my assessment that the political agenda of this funding was clearly visible. I asked him to show me the list, but he refused. Stop the hypocrisy, and let’s all be guided by our values, all Europeans. Georgia is also a European country,” Papuashvili stated.
