Shalva Papuashvili announced that the number of foreign influence organizations registered under “Transparency of Foreign Influence Law” has exceeded those who are challenging the law.
Papuashvili said that 144 organizations had registered in the transparency registry, which is now more than the 136 organizations who are currently appealing the law. He also noted that over 300 organizations’ registration applications are still being reviewed.
Papuashvili posted on social media that “the number of organizations registered with the transparency register (144) has already exceeded the amount of organizations who challenge the law regarding transparency of foreign influences (136 organizations).” He added, “”…and you can imagine that every morning, we wake up in the beautiful towns and villages of Georgia.”
