Western Democracy: Double Standard?

Speaker of the Shalva Papuashvili has written a post on Facebook about the state of democracy .

He pointed out that a prominent leader in France is facing arrest, while a popular party in is being abolished. In the US, a was threatened with 561 years in prison, but later became president and the case against them was dropped.

Papuashvili noted that these actions seem be against the principles of democracy. He quoted old saying: “You can’t see a log in your own eye and look fur in someone else’s.”
