**Georgia’s Parliament Speaker Speaks Out**
The Parliament Speaker of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, has made a statement about the recent attack on the country‘s 5th President, Salome Zurabishvili.
**No Comment on Speculations**
When asked if people who support Georgian Dream might have been involved in the attack, Papuashvili said he had no information and couldn’t comment. He also mentioned that the 5th President had previously suspected Russia of interfering in elections, but later said it was just a dream.
**Need for Change**
Papuashvili stressed that the violent environment being created in Georgia with foreign funding must change. This includes changing the situation where opposition leaders and NGOs are involved.
**Background on the Attack**
Last week, eggs were thrown at President Salome Zurabishvili when she returned from a trip to Munich. She filed a complaint and demanded an investigation into the incident.
