Shalva Papuashvili says that the elections for local self-government, which Mikheil Kavelashvili has scheduled under the legislation adopted in Parliament, will be held in October.  

**Local Elections to Go Ahead as Planned**

Shalva Papuashvili says local self–government elections will take place in October. The government had planned these elections under a law passed by Parliament.

The elections were scheduled for next month, and Papuashvili does not think they will be stopped. He believes everyone will participate in the voting process, as it is required by law.
