**Several Protestors Released by Police**
There was a confrontation between police and protestors on Melikishvili Avenue. Some of those arrested were let go.
Among them is Sergi Baramidze, who works for “Mtavari Arkhi”. Two female protestors from groups called “Strong Georgia” and “Strategy Agmashenebeli” were also released.
Sergi Baramidze was hurt during his arrest. He said he was physically attacked by police officers. He has a bruised eye but is otherwise okay.
Baramidze explained what happened: “I was filming the police as they arrested someone else. Then I got into a fight with them. They told me I was breaking the rules and obstructing their work.”
He doesn’t understand why he was arrested in the first place, since he’s just a cameraman doing his job.
Baramidze said that at the police station, nothing major happened to him. The officers just checked his things before letting him go.
