**Tbilisi Police Crack Down on Drug Dealers, Six Arrested**
In a major operation, police in Tbilisi have arrested six individuals for their involvement in the illegal trade and possession of narcotics. The arrests were made by officers from different divisions of the Tbilisi Police Department, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the suspects were arrested on charges related to the purchase, possession, and distribution of large quantities of various types of narcotic substances, including marijuana. The individuals involved are: M.K., a 26-year-old born in 1996; two foreign nationals, K.R. (17 years old) and M.B. (32 years old); and three previously convicted individuals, Z.A. (38 years old), L.N. (27 years old), and G.K. (28 years old).
**Serious Crimes Carry Heavy Penalties**
The crimes these individuals are accused of carry severe penalties, with prison sentences ranging from 20 years to life imprisonment. The police conducted a thorough investigation, using controlled purchases of drugs and covert audio and video recordings to gather evidence.
During the searches of the suspects’ homes, vehicles, and other locations, police seized large quantities of various types of narcotics, including heroin, methadone, mephedrone, buprenorphine, alpha-PVP, and marijuana. Additionally, they confiscated significant amounts of cash, totaling €15,515, $15,500 USD, and 6,550 GEL (approximately ₾16,300), which are believed to be proceeds from their illicit activities.

The investigation is ongoing, with the suspects being charged under various articles of the Criminal Code. This operation demonstrates the police’s commitment to combating drug-related crimes in Tbilisi and upholding the law.
