**Protests Against Ruling Party**

Crowds gathered around the SNS activists, chanting, whistling, and booing them. This happened in several markets where people have been known their strong anti- views. The SNS traditionally sets up its stands outside open air markets on weekends during and other campaigns.

**Confrontations at Markets**

At one market, the first set of SNS stands was taken down quickly after being met with boos and whistles. A second set was left for almost 12 hours, with police separating the crowd from the activists. The situation became tense enough that police reinforcements were brought in without riot gear.

**Police Struggled to Intervene**

The police tried to evacuate the SNS activists but could not get through the crowd. The confrontation ended at around 10:00 pm when the activists packed up and left, with the neighborhood crowd singing a traditional farewell song.

**Similar Scene at Another Market**

A similar outcome was reported at another market where people expressed their dissatisfaction for almost 12 hours before the SNS activists left. The police were present to separate the crowd from the activists.

** Erupted at Third Location**

The strongest reaction from local people was at a second site in the Zvezdara municipality, where the SNS activists were pelted with eggs. One young woman who threw eggs was arrested. Videos showed police officers separating activists and locals who were shouting at each other. The SNS activists were chased away earlier that day, but for a shorter time.

**Tensions Ran **

Tensions ran high at all three locations where the SNS activists faced protests.
