**Serbian Party Cancels Meeting**
The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has called off a meeting of its top officials in the city of Nis. The decision was made after protesters gathered outside the venue.
Police were deployed to block access to the building, known as the Officers’ Home. They formed several rings around the area to keep people away.
**Protesters Showed Up**
People had come to protest against the meeting. Some threw eggs at party officials who arrived at the venue. These officials included Milos Vucevic, the outgoing Prime Minister and leader of the SNS, and Ana Brnabic, the Speaker of Parliament.
**Meeting Canceled**
The protesters’ actions made it impossible for the meeting to take place. The police were unable to control the crowd, so the SNS decided to cancel the gathering.
