**Solidarity Rally Held Outside Georgian Parliament**
A rally is taking place outside the back entrance of the Georgian Parliament. People are gathering to show support for Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of online news platforms Batumelebi and Netgazeti.
Mzia’s colleagues have come to demand her release from pre-trial detention. They are holding banners that read: “Freedom to the head of Netgazeti and Batumelebi” and “Freedom to the political prisoners of the Ivanishvili regime!”.
The crowd is chanting slogans like “Freedom to Mzia” and “Freedom to the political prisoners“. Police have arrived at the scene to monitor the situation.

Mzia Amaglobeli was arrested on January 11 in Batumi. She was charged with assaulting a police officer, which she allegedly did by slapping Batumi Police Chief Irakli Dgebuadze.
