A source at the agency told The Kyiv Independent that Ukraine’s military intelligence had been behind a drone strike against the city Kaspiysk, in Russia’s Dagestan Republic. The attack was targeting a Russian navy base.
Sources said that at least two ships — the missile ships Tatarstan Dagestan — and possibly several smaller Project 21631 vessels were damaged.
Dagestan authorities reported intercepting an attack by a drone over Kaspiysk on Nov. 6, a port town at the , about 1,000 kilometers (600 miles) from the frontline.
He said that “Russian Navy Ships are Stationed in Kaspiysk.” The base is also home to the Russian Caspian Flotilla as well as Russian Marines, Coastal Troops and Russian Marines.
Sources claim that the targeted fleet is involved in strikes against Ukraine and the 177th Marine Regiment, stationed in the area, was engaged in combat in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

Trump declares victory by saying “I’m going stop the wars”.
Donald Trump declared victory in the U.S. Presidential election on November 6, shortly before crossing over the threshold of 270 Electoral College Votes needed to win.
“I want thank the American people for this extraordinary honor of being your 47th President, and your 45th President,” Trump said to a cheering audience in West Palm Beach.
The Republican nominee, who promised a “golden era of America”, said: “I won’t rest until I deliver a strong, prosperous and safe America that our children deserve.”
His return to the White may spell trouble for Ukraine as there are fears that he could withdraw his support for the besieged nation and make a deal with Russia.
Trump did not mention Russia’s war on Ukraine in his speech, but said that “no wars were seen” by the U.S. during his first term as president.
“We did not have wars for four years.” Trump declared that “except we defeated ISIS.”
“They said that he would start a conflict. I am not going to do so. I will stop the conflicts.”
J.. Vance, Trump’s running mate, said: “I believe we’ve just seen the greatest political comeback of American history.” Vance told the crowd of Republican supporters.
In his only debate on Sept. 10 with Democratic nominee U.S. Vice-President Kamala Harris of the United States, Trump refused to state that he wanted an Ukrainian victory.
Trump said, “I believe it’s in the U.S. best interest to finish this war and just get it over with. Negotiate a deal.”
According to a report in October, Trump’s plan, which calls for the U.S. to “get out” of Ukraine and end the war in “24 hours”, would benefit Russia, as it would cede Ukrainian territory and create autonomous regions in eastern Ukraine.
In an interview with The Kyiv Independent, Evelyn Farkas said that Trump’s view was that he wanted to do all he could to help Putin, for whatever reason. He’s fascinated by Putin in particular.
“It will take all of the will and fighting of the people under him to continue the current policy of support for Ukraine, and to oppose Russia’s autocratic agenda.”
The American economy will suffer if Trump decides to cut U.S. assistance to Ukraine. The U.S. Industrial Base has received more than $50 billion in investments due to America’s support for Ukraine. Billions of dollars have been sent to states like Arkansas, Alabama and Florida that helped Trump win the White House.
