**South Africa Will Not Invite Putin to Next G20 Summit**
The South African president has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be invited to the next G20 summit. This is because of a pending arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC arrested Putin over allegations of war crimes in Ukraine.
Putin was also not invited to the last G20 summit, which was held in Brazil. Instead, his Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov attended on his behalf. This shows that Putin has to carefully choose where he travels due to the arrest warrant.
**Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine**
The situation with Russia and Ukraine continues to be tense. Russian forces have been attacking Ukrainian positions, causing casualties. The ICC says that Putin should be arrested for war crimes in Ukraine. South Africa is a signatory to the Rome Statute, which means it has to arrest Putin if he enters the country.
