InterPressNews obtained information from the Labour Inspection Service that showed 35 workers had died and 330 others were injured on the job in 2022.
According to the agency all 35 people who were killed in the workplace accident were men. As for the injured, there were 261 men and 69 women.
In the reporting period for 2022, three mass accidents occurred at the workplace. The information states that 87 of the injured were classified as serious accidents (women 11, men 76) and 243 as accidents of moderate severity (women, 58; men, 185).
