Steve Forbes thinks that Trump needs to make a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine. This should be done without letting Russia get too powerful, says Forbes.
The US President-elect wants an immediate ceasefire and talks to end the conflict. His team has already suggested that Ukraine might need to give up some land to Russia in exchange for peace.
Forbes thinks that Putin is looking to control Ukraine and is getting ideas from history. He is worried that Trump will make a deal with Putin, just like British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain did with Adolf Hitler in 1938.
