The BBC‘s Russia editor asked Vladimir Putin what he thought about “justice” and “security” in light the Ukraine war.
In response to Steve Rosenberg’s question, Putin stated that the Nato expansion “violates” Russian security. “There is no justice in this situation and we want to make it right“, he said.
Rosenberg asked the Russian President about recent MI5 intelligence reports that said Russia’s spy agency was on a mission to create “sustained chaos on British and European streets”.
“It is utter rubbish”, Putin responded.
