The Ukrainian company United Military Solutions developed the Stick M12, a loitering munition that is deployed by frontline units. A regional administration will support future production.
Militarnyi reported that Ukrainian defense company United Military Solutions developed a new loitering munition called Stick M12 capable of flying as far as 70 kilometers, and remaining airborne for more than an hour.
Drone warfare has become a key element of the ongoing Russo Ukrainian war. Unmanned vehicles, of all sizes, that operate in the air, land, and sea, play an important role. Technology is rapidly improving. The Stick M12 is functionally similar to Russia’s highly-successful Zala Lantset loitering munition. Ukrainian drone manufacturers have created several similar models, including Skyfall and Bulava. The Stick does not have the Lantset’s double cruciform wings configuration.
