**Opposition Coalition Renounces MP Mandates**
The Strong Georgia Coalition has decided to give up their seats in parliament. Mamuka Khazaradze, one of the coalition’s leaders, made this announcement on November 14.
**Other Opposition Forces Follow Suit**
Two other opposition forces, Coalition for Change and Unity-UNM, also renounced their MP mandates earlier. This means that only For Georgia party, led by ex-Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, has not publicly dropped its mandate.
**Concerns About Legitimacy**
The Strong Georgia Coalition is worried that For Georgia party might take up the MP seats. They want to make sure that none of the opposition forces gives legitimacy to the current parliament, which they believe was rigged in the October 26 elections.
**Joint Decision Needed**
Mamuka Khazaradze suggested that all opposition forces should jointly go through the process of renouncing their MP mandates. This would clear up any confusion and prevent people from speculating about the issue.
**Prime Minister‘s Comments**
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze expressed doubts that all opposition forces would eventually take up their seats in parliament. He also said that the Georgian Dream party prefers to govern alone, as they believe the other parties have no resources and would be counterproductive in parliament.
