**Serbian Students on a Cycling Adventure: Halfway to Strasbourg**
A group of 80 Serbian students, who are traveling from Novi Sad to Strasbourg on bicycles, have completed the first half of their long journey. On Wednesday, they left Emmersdorf an der Donau and were headed towards Linz in Austria.
According to Radovan Seratlic, a reporter from Nova S/N1 who is riding with the group, they have covered over 650 kilometers of the 1,300+ km route so far. The students and their supporters are moving as a single group, which is a relief after having to split into smaller groups in Hungary and part of Austria.
**A Pleasant Ride Along the Danube Valley**
Seratlic described Wednesday’s stage as an easy day with just 100 kilometers to cover. He said that the bike riders were enjoying the ride along the Danube valley, where the scenery is pleasant and the wind is gentle. The Austrian police are escorting them, and the group takes breaks every 30 kilometers or so.
**A Smooth Ride Thanks to Pacemarkers**
The students have pacemarkers who try to keep their speed at a moderate pace of 20 km/h. This has helped the riders to stay together as a single group, which makes for a more enjoyable and safer ride.
