The Swedish says it has agreed with the British company BAE Systems Hägglunds to buy 205 CV90 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs). Of these, 40 will be sent to Ukraine. This is part of a bigger package of military aid for Ukraine, which Sweden announced in December .

**Sweden and Denmark Get More Vehicles**

The deal also means that Sweden and Denmark will get more combat vehicles themselves. Denmark will receive 115 new CV90 IFVs, while Sweden will get 50 to replace the ones it previously sent to Ukraine. This is all part of a bigger effort by both countries to strengthen their own defense capabilities.
