Swedish Parliament Member Supports Georgia’s European Aspirations
Gustaf Göthberg, a member of the Swedish Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, has arrived in Tbilisi. He is showing his support for the Georgian people and their desire to be part of Europe.
In a post on social media, Göthberg expressed concern about the violent actions taken by the government against peaceful protesters. He called this unacceptable behavior and stated that Georgia is already a European country.
Göthberg also emphasized that no one, not even an oligarch (a person with great influence), can change this fact. He believes that Georgia’s connection to Europe cannot be altered by any individual or group.
